- Recipient of the Southwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons award for distinguished achievement in oral surgery as a senior student
- Over 70 completed hours of specialized training in orthodontics
- Certified in nitrous and enteral sedation
- Member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and San Antonio District Dental Society
